CRAFT Beverages:
New York State has a long tradition of beer brewing and craft beverage production. The result is a renaissance in craft production throughout the state including wineries, breweries, distilleries and cideries. There are more than 400 craft breweries in the state, and most of them are fairly small. Most breweries have tasting rooms on premises where beer enthusiasts can get beer as fresh as possible, at times straight from the tanks. Tap rooms are often popular local gathering places, offering music, food, and other events, even when the decor is very rustic and the tap room is literally in the heart of the production facility. The Catskill Beverage Brew Trail  https://www.greatnortherncatskills.com/attractions/catskills-beverage-trail features some of our favorites, including:
